- My Daddy is a Pretzel: Yoga for Parents and Kids - a great introduction to yoga for children and a fun family activity - specifically recommended by Deepak Chopra! Also check out the Yoga Pretzels card deck, which features 50 Fun Yoga Activities for Kids and Grownups and is endorsed by Tobey Maguire.
- My Big Barefoot Book of Wonderful Words - Featured in the Wall Street Journal as one of the best books to gift children!
- Whole World - A singalong book about the whole world, with tips on how to live green; featured on Oprah Magazine's O List!
Ages 0 to 4
In this age category, Barefoot is known for catchy and engaging board books, as well as anthologies of rhymes and classic stories.

- *Who's in the Garden? - a large, peek a boo board book, featuring animals coming to see how the garden is growing
- I Took the Moon for a Walk - My absolute favourite Barefoot book. It's a stunningly illustrated bedtime book, featuring a gorgeous story poem. One of Scholastic's "100 Greatest Books for Kids"
- Bear In a Square - it's amazing how many ways a child can interact with this board book. The illustrations are bright and vivid, and is loved by both my 1 year olds AND my 3 year old!
In this age category, Barefoot is best known for their "singalong" books, which all include an enhanced CD so that you can listen to the song while you read, and also watch an animated version of the book on your computer. This category also has the widest selection of classic illustrated story books.
